Storage

Three kind of storage are available:

  1. ephemeral storage existing only for the life of a virtual machine instance
  2. persistent volumes, independent of any particular instance, that may be attached to a single instance at a time, much like a USB drive;
  3. object storage, allowing to store and retrieve potentially lots of data with a simple API, ideal for storing unstructured data that can grow without bound.
